Race for the Galaxy series
RACE FOR THE GALAXY (abbreviated "RftG") is a card game designed by Thomas Lehmann. Its theme is to build galactic civilizations via game cards that represent worlds or technical and social developments. It accommodates 2-4 players by default although expansions allow for up to 6 players, as well as solo play. The game uses iconography in place of language in some places, with complex powers also having a text description.
In New Frontiers, a standalone game in the Race for the Galaxy family, players build galactic empires by selecting, in turn, an action that everyone may do, with only the selecting player gaining that action's bonus. Gameplay includes small and large developments, windfall and production worlds, with four game ending conditions.
