What is "BGC Mark"?
Been seeing our reference about this "BGC Mark" lately? What is this "BGC Mark" thing? Apa tu?
It's basically our rewards programme currency.
We didn't call our Membership Rewards Programme using the common "Rewards Programme" moniker. Instead we chose to brand it as "BGC Insider Rewards". Therefore we needed a fitting currency to go with it. Can't have "points", can we? :P
Why use the "Mark"?
- The Deutsche Mark is an actual currency
- It was the currency of Germany which is known as the capital of modern euro board games. It probably still is, with Essen Spiel being the largest board game convention around.
- The word "mark" (target) also plays as a slang with the "Insider" term.
So there you have it now. "BGC Mark" = the reward points you get when you spend / buy board games from us.
